Your house is destroyed – and you are forced to leave everything and everyone you know behind – where do you go? What can you carry?
Set over four time zones and performed inside make-shift tents, WEATHERED ESTATES follows the fates of four women surviving the aftermath of war.
Based on Euripides’ ancient text ‘The Women of Troy’, the Roaring Girls bring us a cosy, conversational and tea-infused version of this classic story complete with a live Greek chorus. A provocation about the effects of violence, war and our survival instincts directed by Amy Skinner and performed with student actors.
